By Miguel Flores 3 months ago

“In this treacherous world
Nothing is the truth nor a lie.
Everything depends on the color
Of the crystal through which one sees it”

Pedro Calderón de la Barca

With all the horror stories of recent days, senseless wars and political issues it is very easy to get depressed and not find a piece of humanity around. Us, on the contrary, are very much aware of the world´s current affairs but we also think that life is like the über famous song by jazz legend Louis Armstrong, we live in a wonderful world. Travel restores our faith in humanity every time and with that in mind we thought it was a good idea to share some of our favorite inspirational travel quotes.

On prejudice

If there´s one thing for sure, once you start exploring the world you will never be the same person again.

On People

Among all the glorious lines that were writen by John Steinbeck, this one is so close to an absolute truth that gives us goosebumps.

On Friends

If you don´t agree with this, ask the first backpacker you stumble upon with and he or she will definitely tell you otherwise.

On Love and Hate

After a long roadtrip to the Florida Keys which was mostly silent and awkward that will be a distant memory pretty soon, I definitely support this motto.

About the World

The world is a book with way too many emty pages, every place we visit is a new page that is waiting for us to write our own story.

On Memories

With this particular quote I can´t help but to think about Barbra Streisand singing “The Way We Were”… There, I said it, sue me!

We hope these drops of wisdom will inspire you to go out to explore and experience the world, we can all make a a better place “for you and for me and the entire human race” as another famous song says which of course, also ranks as a great inspirational travel quote itself.
