To have your travel documents updated and in order when you are about to travel is a must and it doesn´t really matter whether you are travelling within your home country or overseas, we have to have our ID card, passport visas and health certifications up to date.

Passports and vaccines in order to travel

Your passport is your only valid ID out of your country.

If you are travelling overseas there are a few important things to have on your checklist are:

- Passport validity: If its expiration date is close we don´t need to say it is important to renew it before it gets too late.

- Visas: Sometimes it just so happens that certain countries ask visitors for an especific type of visa… just because!

- Vaccines: There are countries such as Brazil, Thailand or Australia with a large amount of rainforest and/or many many bugs which is why these countries require its visitors to get vaccinated agains a number of tropical diseases.

Do you remember the story of a 4 year old chinese kid who drew all over his dad´s passport not long ago that went viral? The dad´s face and information were unrecognizable due to the amount of animals, people and hair that was added to the photo and elsewhere so he got stucked in South Korea for a while until he could get a new passport, that is why there´s no need to remember that our passport is our only valid identity document out of our home country so we have to take excellent care of it.

That´s why on our previous travel tips we urge parents to keep their kids entertained during long trips, so don´t forget about this! Now that your travel documents are all new (or just renewed) and in excellent shape, we wish you an awesome time wherever you plan to go for your next vacation!
