What Kind of traveler are you?
By José Yañez 4 days agoTraveling across the globe, from one destination to another, exploring what the unseen is like and experiencing the difference in various cultures and traditions is all about your very own perspective. After all just hitching a flight to next destination isn’t something which everyone can do, but travel you must and travel you should! It’s a given, curiosity is a part and parcel of human nature. But there are many ways to travel. Do you know what kind of traveler are you?
Traveling offers a chance to relax, to explore and to eventually discover something completely new. And it goes without saying while you are at it – you’ll probably discover something completely new about yourself as well in the process. So suffice it to say, it is worth it.
Choosing the destination
So – how and where do you start? For someone who does travel a lot a simple method is to think where they went last and take it a step further from there. It doesn’t matter if you boarded a plane, crossed international borders or just got in your car and drove there– the point is to go a step further! However if you don’t take much holiday time and don’t do much travelling a whole new world of exploration is awaiting you. Simply grab your atlas (yes, get a little old school), close your eyes and pin point! If you’re more of a techie, you can always search online for the best tours to any destination in the world.
Too risky, maybe? Truth be told, your holiday habits eventually sum up a lot about your personality. For instance is it all about soaking in the sun, or are you the sort who likes to mix with the locals and learn about their history and tradition? Similarly, do you go on wild treks or would rather prefer a bus ride across the city while the guide shouts out why this and that is so significant?
The “royal traveler”
There was a time when fancy hotels, 24/7 concierges and acommodation were very much the vacation destination of the superrich. However the way holiday packages are put together and planned these days anyone can afford to go on that luxury vacation with all the right sorts in place. But would staying in a Five Star Hotel with Spa really do for someone like you?
The “just pack a back pack and off you go” traveler
If not, you could very well be the just pack a back pack and off you go kind of traveler. Someone who likes to take its chances on the outback. You’d be surprised at how much you can save by pre booking hostels or beds as you take a train from one destination to another. Similarly arranging transport isn’t difficult at all as well, plus with your free spirit, chances are you’ll run into a friend or make one on the way as you hop from destination to another.
The “wanderluster”
But there is a kind of traveler in between, someone who isn’t exactly the posh kind of traveler with everything in place before they board their flight and isn’t quite the random back packer as well. If you’re this kind of traveler you probably look for excitement in different ways and places; you’ll want a hotel but not the hotel to spend time in. It’ll just be a room where you come to spend the night at and during the day you’ll immerse yourself in the culture the destination you visit has to offer. You’ll walk across, click your camera everywhere and try the fo0d at the local stalls. Also, you always know find the best deals on flights, tours and transportation. You got it all figured out!
All in all, it depends on the kind of person you really are, from rich like traveling to back packing or even being a wanderluster – it will no doubt be an exciting experience. Either taking it slow or going full on fast pace while traveling, the choice is yours. And to top it all off, most travel agencies will have the right package to match your holiday needs today. That’s the gist of it all, so we’d say pack a bag, plan what you want and get out there – enjoy yourself and tell us your story.
