The tour started off nicely but by the time we left the silver shop and Xochimilco we realized we were being had by both tourist traps. I wouldn't recommend either place. Raul was nice and showed us around the city a bit which was the best part of the tour. His friend who boarded our boat in Xochimilco was aggressive and rude when we didn't buy "enough" jewelry from him, although we handed him nearly $500 USD total. He also thought we didn't speak English and I overheard him on the phone telling someone that we were being "cheap". We travel the world frequently and I hate it when I feel taken advantage of. Xochimilco is a tourist trap and so is Raul's friend's silver store on the way there. Avoid both at all costs.
